Qualifying Rounds at Home Club
 
      The format of play has been set in a way to allow for as many members as possible to be exposed to the event and opportunity to represent the Club. There are no stringent requirements to build a team therefore making it easier for Members to qualify. Each Club will have the flexibility to create their own qualifying format.

Qualification Tournament Plan
 
Sweetwater Country Club will host a series of qualifying golf tournaments to determine which teams will compete in the “Final” qualifier held on Saturday, September 27, 2008, for the opportunity to represent Sweetwater Country Club at the “The Partners Championship”.
Teams of four (4) players can attempt to qualify in each tournament.  The entry fee for each qualifier is $30 per person. Two best net scores of foursome will count for the team score.  There is no limit on qualifying attempts.
The number of teams to advance from each qualifier are:
 
                   Less than 5 teams entered:                  One (1) team will advance
                   6 to 8 teams entered:                            Two (2) teams will advance
                   More than 8 teams entered:                 Three (3) teams will advance
 
IN THE EVENT OF A TIE, ALL TEAMS TIED FOR A QUALIFYING SPOT WILL ADVANCE.
 
QUALIFYING DATES:
Players will make their own tee times and may play in their own groups during qualifiers, (as not to interfere with normal Saturday play).

QUALIFYING IS OPEN TO PRIMARY MEMBER AND OR SPOUSE.
 
The final qualifier, Saturday, September 20, 2008, will have an entry fee of $30 per person and scoring will be the same as the preliminary qualifiers.  The top TWO teams with the LOWEST two best net scores of foursome score will advance to the Partner’s Championship at the PGA National Resort, November 10-13, 2008
 
The ninth & tenth playing spots will go to the Full Golf Members with the most new member sponsorships from April 1, 2008 through September 21, 2008.  If the Full Golf Members with the most new member sponsorships have qualified with a team, the spot will go the Full Golf Member with the third most new member sponsorships, continuing until a Full Golf Member that has not already qualified is determined.
